Overall Purpose
•To manage stores processes and associated support activities ensuring customer KPIs are achieved.
•To ensure integrity of customer owned stock is maintained
•To pro-actively investigate and resolve any stock differences or issues that may arise in the day to day stock activity.
•To manage stock specific transfers and shipments accurately internally and externally with systems and hardcopy traceability.
•To ensure stock KPI’s are adhered to.
•Ensure rotational stock counts take place and the results from these stock counts are stored in-line with our client group requirements.
•To generate and provide all stock reporting requirements as maybe requested by the customer.
•To manage stock audits with the customer or customer appointed 3rd party.
•To oversee the end to end delivery of Value Added Services and other projects within the Nokia Logistics Hub including logistical movement of product to and from the customers.
•To provide operational cover as required to other supervisors and support other operational processes in the business as required.
•To ensure the smooth running of subdivisions within the Logistics department (Nokia Sales Logistics / Logistics Marketing).
•To ensure stock is provided to all relevant departments in a timely manner in line with department KPI’s.
Specific Responsibilities
•To establish and manage, day to day, the end to end performance of stores activities and the processes operated on behalf of a defined customer.
•To ensure 100% of stock accuracy is maintained at all times in unison with customer KPIs throughout the day, ensuring customer expectation is met.
•To fully utilise stores employees and set work accordingly, ensuring that staff communicate any stock anomalies with immediate effect.
•To ensure that the release of goods from the customer owned stock holding is carried out in line with the requirements of the business and that an audit trail exists for every release for customer owned stock.
•To ensure stock reporting is provided in an accurate and timely manner as requested by the customer and internally to other managers as required.
•To optimise all customer and business related stores / stock processes to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
•To maintain levels of stock accuracy (system versus actual) to pre-defined standards as defined by the customer.
•To establish an internal stock take timetable and to perform regular stock takes in line with this timetable, as well as any customer defined timetables that may exist.
•To establish a courier delivery/collection time logging system and to proactively communicate with the couriers to ensure these times are met each day.
•To manage the production of all periodic reports as required by the customer.
•To establish individual and group performance targets as required and to manage the delivery of these targets by the stores / operational team.
•To ensure that any customer security policies are adhered to by staff.
•To manage timekeeping and attendance of reporting staff.
•To carry out appraisals with the staff and carry out disciplinary interviews in line with our client policies.
•To co-ordinate and where necessary carry out training across the operations and stores staff to ensure that a high level of cross training and competence exists.
•To manage the stock of the internal activity, reporting to ensure monthly billing information is fed to finance.
•Provide the necessary reports to the Operations Manager and Customer on stock availability for swapping (SMT), flash / variant creation including available stock through Software Downgrading.
