A team leader is required to work in our customers factory in Thetford assisting in the updating in mobile phone software, working on a production line. Full training and support will be given.
Previous experience in variant creation is preferable but not essential.
The supervisor will be responsible for a team of 8 production operatives.
The duties may include:
• Responsible for the day to day Software updating of devices as per customer demand
• To be able to lead projects where Software updating and high volume processing with tight deadlines feature
• To monitor and influence the day to day KPI’s to ensure strict targets are met.
• Maintain high standards in an established department with the view to future expansion
• Provide support to a willing team and demonstrate good communication skills within all other business areas
• To assist and carry out tasks in the production line as directed.
• To ensure that all units are carefully recorded on internal databases
• To re-pack units before shipping
• Dealing with different products at various times as you may be asked to move from role to role

The customer may request that other tasks need doing as part of the process.

Supervisors are required to have the following skills;
• To have experience in working in a fast paced environment,
• Meet KPI’s set.
• Be a quick learner and assist others to help meet team targets.
• Ability to work with and to lead a team to achieve their targets.
• A good understanding of the English language both spoken & written
• Good attention to detail & ability to follow instructions
• To be able to work with small components
• Good time keeping
• Good computer knowledge
